Database Migration¶

Nextcloud does not provide an official tool for migrating between supported databases at the moment. This may be relevant if a customer moves from VM-based hosting with MariaDB to AIO, which only supports PostgreSQL.

For database migrations, organizations should consult the official Nextcloud documentation and consider using third-party tools designed for database conversion. Always ensure proper backups before attempting any database migration.
