  • Replacing Power Automate & Power Apps

Power Automate and Power Apps are tools for low-code development integrated into M365. They allow users to build custom processes that are not implemented into the software by default. Usually, they are a great tool to replace Excel macros and make them more controllable.

In Nextcloud will find Nextcloud Flow, a collection of no-code and low-code tools to automate processes. The classic Flow, the no-code part, lets organiza- tions automate simple things like approval workflows. Those can be configured completely in the Nextcloud User Interface (UI) without any programming knowl- edge. They however always require separate apps from the app store like the approval workflow app. With the Windmill integration organizations can also implement more complex workflows and connect different parts of Nextcloud. For example, it is possible to build processes in Tables, where different people enrich metadata in different stages with different permissions and write the conclusion into an office document with Nextcloud Office. Or users can collect responses in a Form and process the data in real time. It is also possible to connect external systems via their web Application Programming Interface (API) with your Nextcloud instance.
